How long does the experience last?

The Saunagus experience starts from 18:30 and lasts approximately 75 minutes. We will then have dinner together at the Winter Island and head to Malmø.

When should I arrive?

You are welcome to arrive as early as you like. However, it is recommended that you arrive around 17:30 and check-in to the event. Please let us know if you will be late by sending an email to registration@copenhagenfurryclub.dk.

Where does the experience take place?

We will meet at the Winter Island which is located near Copenhagen Central Station. Check our good to know page here to learn more!

Is swimwear required in the sauna?

In a private sauna, swimwear is not required if everyone in the group is comfortable with that. However, no skin must touch the sauna surfaces due to hygiene reasons, which is why a free towel is included.

Outside the sauna area swimwear is required at all times.

Can I swim in the harbour?

As there is a general ban on bathing in the harbour (unless you are in a bathing zone), swimming in the harbour is unfortunately not allowed. For the same reason, the venue has both cold water showers and a splash bucket on the island as an alternative. Swimming in the harbour can result in expulsion.

What are the venue rules?

Which sauna will I be assigned to?

Those who have originally signed up to the 30-people sauna (before December 19th) will have the option to choose whether they want to join the big sauna or join a 10-people sauna instead.

If you have any preferences or would like to make sure that your group of friends is in the same sauna let us know at registration@copenhagenfurryclub.dk.

What is the wait time for ordering food?

We will have at least 60 attendees. The venue is aware of this and will aim to staff the restaurant & bar accordingly. However, expect to wait some time when ordering food since we will be a lot of people doing it at once.

What happens if too many people sign up?

The Winter Island offers up to 70 simultaneous sauna spots. If more people sign up we will also book multiple 10-people saunas in addition to the 30-people sauna.

What happens if not enough people sign up?

We need a minimum of 30 attendees for the experience to be viable. If we do not meet this number we will look into booking 10-people saunas instead to ensure that we do not overpay for a bigger sauna we will not fill.

If we do not manage to fill one of the 10-people saunas we might need to cancel the sauna booking and refund tickets for those assigned to that sauna.

How long do I have to pay?

You have seven (7) days to pay from the moment your registration is approved. If you do not pay in time, your registration will be automatically cancelled.

Can I cancel my booking?

It is unfortunately not possible to cancel your booking after you have paid. However, you are more than welcome to sell or transfer it to someone else! If you would like to do this please reach out to us at registration@copenhagenfurryclub.dk.

Is there a waiting list?

If we sell out of tickets, you will be invited to join the waiting list. If someone cancels his/her registration it will be offered to the next person in the waiting list automatically. If the waiting list becomes too long we will consider booking more saunas.

Can I bring my fursuit or other bulky items?

You are welcome to bring your fursuit or other bulky items. However, keep in mind that there is only storage available for small items and you might need to leave your unsupervised belongings near our booked table.
